Maintenance Planner:
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to optimize performance and minimize downtime
- Develop and manage preventive maintenance plans aligned with contract requirements, timelines, and budgets
- Track and manage Work In Progress (WIP) to avoid delays in project commencement or completion
- Provide detailed WIP reporting and highlight potential delivery risks to senior management
- Analyze service data to identify performance gaps and implement resolution strategies
- Validate and refine job plans for accuracy in scheduling and execution
- Lead project management tasks and ensure deliverables meet quality benchmarks
Customer Service & Stakeholder Management
- Attend client meetings to represent the service delivery team and address concerns
- Lead efforts to uphold exceptional customer service standards
- Communicate effectively with internal and external clients to meet service level targets
- Investigate and respond to feedback to refine service procedures and outcomes
- Foster proactive stakeholder engagement and perform root cause analysis when service issues arise
Compliance
- Ensure timely execution of compliance-related tasks
- Safeguard company assets and reputation by adhering to approval limits and audit protocols
- Maintain high standards of documentation and reporting in line with accreditation and HSE guidelines
Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ)
- Champion a Zero Harm culture and empower team participation in HSEQ initiatives
- Actively monitor site safety and implement corrective actions where necessary
- Ensure incident and near-miss reporting meets regulatory and internal requirements
- Uphold legislative and ethical standards across all operational activities
Qualifications & Experience
Required Qualifications
- Trade certification in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
- Tertiary qualification in building, engineering, or project management (desirable)
- Current driver's license
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in a similar operational or maintenance leadership role within the industrial services sector
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities, especially with performance metrics
- Exceptional communication and team coordination skills
